Where the Lamp-line Stops is a side quest in the Wending Vale, offered by Pell Rook.

There's one more thing on that roll. The night shift kept a cache at the Rest: lamp-oil, flints, and what they'd put by for the families of anyone the mine kept. Only the shift knew where. One of them told me once, in his cups: under the split beam, where the lamp-line stops. If it's still there, then nobody came back for it.

Follow the lamp-line down the spur to where it stops. Look for a beam that's split. No one marked it. That was the point.

On completion

Untouched. Oil still in the flask, the box still full. Eleven of them knew where this was, and not one came back for it, even with the families' money in it. I'll see the money gets where it was meant to go. And I'll stop telling myself they went somewhere else.
