A Chip for the Capstone is a side quest in the Wending Vale, offered by Thelaen and finished with Pell Rook.

Word climbs my hill eventually. Amberford's well has gone bitter, and someone pried the ward-chip off its capstone to do it. A chip that small keeps only one well sweet, but it was cut to. I've cut a new one. Set it in the scar on the capstone, then tell the reeve his water will be clean by morning.
